“Do all things without murmurings and disputings:”
Philippians 2:14

“Make no friendship with an angry man thou shalt not go: Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.” Proverbs 22:24-25
You easily learn the ways your friends, he emphasizes it: Proverbs 13:20.
If you associate with those whose first response to any situation is to complain, you’d learn and also do likewise, just like the Israelites were influenced by the mixed multitudes, Numbers 11:4.
So David said: Psalm 119:63
Look at these guys:
“Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.” Malachi 3:16
They planned meetings where they met together just to think about the Lord and his name, and just by being in the right association, see what they got as against the plague that came upon the Israelites:
“Then the LORD All-Powerful said: You people are precious to me, and when I come to bring justice, I will protect you, just as parents protect an obedient child.” Malachi 3:17, CEV
