“Do all things without murmurings and disputings:”
Philippians 2:14
The Bible tells us the children of Israel were persuaded by the mixed multitudes that with them, came out of Egypt to murmur and complain for meat:
“And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?” Numbers 11:4
Listen to God’s response:
“…therefore the LORD will give you flesh, and ye shall eat. Ye shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days; But even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you: because that ye have despised the LORD which is among you, and have wept before him…” Numbers 11:18-20
If they had just asked, remembering what God had done, before, they would have received. The Bible tells us:
“Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.” 1 Corinthians 10:10
Always remember that the God that brought in the quails has said he would never leave you nor forsake you, so even in the wilderness— if the physical resources do not seem like enough, remember the one who made them is right there with you- a very present help: Psalms 46:1
