“Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.” Acts 12:5
See how eager Jesus is for you to use his name in the place of prayer:
“Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16:24
His name is higher than any other:
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11
and in his name, it doesn’t matter who isn’t moving or changing their stance, he doesn’t need their permission to wrought changes. See how he delivered Peter without Herod’s permission: Acts 12:6-10
And the apostles without the permission of the high priest: Acts 5:17-24
And Paul and Silas without the permission of the jailer: Acts 16:25-27.
Using his name in prayer is all the permission you need for things to change for your favour, in his righteousness and he not only gave you the permission to use his name, he anticipates your requests!
