“The life was the light of men”.
Light signifies direction, understanding; if you were walking in the dark, it will be hard for you to know where you are heading, when the light is turned on, your direction becomes clearer to you. If you were walking in the dark or sitting in a dark room and you heard something behind you or felt something close to you, until the light is turned on, you would have no understanding of the objects. Light signifies direction and understanding.
Every man has a destiny; a place he is headed to, with the light of life, he would be directed accordingly and would understand how to function accordingly.
The Bible says, the life in him is the light of men, any man who receives that life would not lack direction and understanding about life and where he is heading. He would understand how to live life and win!
“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.”  1John 5:11
God sent Jesus to make that life available; he wants you to “see road”- to know where you’re headed in life and how to do life and win consistently to the glory of God!
