“And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.”
1 Corinthians 13:13

He says faith abides; nothing wrought by faith would fade away, and that’s consistent with what he told us:
“But the word of the Lord endureth for ever…” 1 Peter 1:25
Faith is acting on the word- doing everything for one singular reason; because the word says so!
“…nevertheless at thy word I will …” Luke 5:5
He says if you live accordingly, everything you do would last, Jesus had told us:
“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain…” John 15:16
So there are results that last and those that do not, but Jesus wants everything you do to remain and so he gives no options:
“But we live by faith, not by what we see.” 2 Corinthians 5:7, ISV
Live by faith only.
“I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.” Psalms 119:14
