“The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: But the way of the wicked seduceth them.”

The word of God literally shows us the more excellent way to live life because we are more excellent: 1 Corinthians 12:31, Philippians 1:9-10.
Always remember who you are what you possess, so you are not intimidated by the glory of men, the glory, excellence and seeming success they portray has one destiny- to fall, fail and fade away:
“As the scripture says: “All human beings are like grass, and all their glory is like wild flowers. The grass withers, and the flowers fall,” 1 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭24‬ ‭GNBUK‬‬
But the word of God you possess is forever durable and eternally relevant, you are better placed:
“but the word of the Lord remains for ever.” 1 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭25‬ ‭GNBUK‬‬
In your life, you can make a choice: to choose that which is temporal, subject to change and unsatisfactory and give men the same or remain steadfast on the word of God and give men eternal relevance; choose like Jesus- Luke 4:6-8.
