“The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: But the way of the wicked seduceth them.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭12‬:‭26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Never be seduced by the way of the wicked; they can have their methods and strategies but it is filled with risks, uncertainties, unforeseen errors and the permutations of fallen men:
“The way of the wicked is as darkness: They know not at what they stumble.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭4‬:‭19‬
But the Bible says:
“But ye, brethren, are not in darkness…” ‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭4‬ ‭
We are not in the darkness, by reason of the new birth, we have been translated out of darkness into the kingdom of God’s love son- Colossians 1:13
And so walk in the light as he is in the light- 1 John 1:7, and that happens when you hear and do what he says: 1 John 1:3,6.
There is no uncertainty when you walk in the word, there is no death, just life- a walk of faith with a certain expectation given you by God himself:
“In the way of righteousness is life; And in the pathway thereof there is no death.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭12‬:‭28‬
