“The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: But the way of the wicked seduceth them.”

You are excellent solely because you are righteous and if you walk in the word, you would never stumble or fall, because there would be nothing to cause you to stumble:
“Those who love Your law have great peace; Nothing makes them stumble.” Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭165‬ ‭Amplified Bible
Why? Because Jesus already forearmed you with the word, he told you offenses would come- Luke 17:1, but he tells you how to deal with them and so you never stumble- Luke 17:3-4.
The word is all you need.
While others chase the literary prowess of men who do not know the future or would never be as wise as king Solomon, hear what the wisest man that ever lived before Jesus said:
“My child, there is something else to watch out for. There is no end to the writing of books, and too much study will wear you out. After all this, there is only one thing to say: have reverence for God, and obey his commands, because this is all that human beings were created for. God is going to judge everything we do, whether good or bad, even things done in secret.” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭12‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭GNBUK‬‬
