“The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: But the way of the wicked seduceth them.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭12‬:‭26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Isn’t it amazing that it is possible for the righteous to be in a position where he is seduced by the wicked even though he is more excellent? (Proverbs 12:26)
The righteous today, is the man who’s born again and that happened by declaring Jesus as Lord of your life:
“If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭9‬ ‭HCSB‬‬
And because he is lord, you do what he says, you keep his word, because that is what he requires:
“And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭6‬:‭46‬
The ‘righteous’ is the man who has the life of God and does the word of God- the Bible says, he is more excellent than those who aren’t born again, he is the first and best of God’s creation after all, James 1:18:
“God decided to give us life through the true message he sent to us. He wanted us to be the most important of all that he created.” ERV
“God was delighted to give us birth by the truth of his infallible Word so that we would fulfill his chosen destiny for us and become the favorite ones out of all his creation!” TPT
