“…but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”
Romans 12:3
What is the situation you desire to change, firstly, you do have faith, all that might be needed is for your faith to grow- and that should be the content of your communication: “I want to grow my faith concerning this matter”, and when you say that, go ahead and do so- read the word.
The Bible tells us of Jesus’ experience in his own town Nazareth-
“And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.” Mark 6:5
Look at his response to their unbelief:
“And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.” Mark 6:6
He went out sharing the word, and he sent his disciples out to do the same; because the faith they required to believe for a miracle and that would help them would only come when they hear the word.
If we walk by faith and not by sight [2 Corinthians 5:7], and pleasing God is based solely on our faith [Hebrews 11:6], then spending time with the word that brings faith is the sole wisest thing to do.
