“For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.”
Psalms 5:12

The Bible tells us:
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” 1 Peter 2:9
The word ‘chosen’ from the Greek ‘eklektos’ is actually rendered ‘favorite’— this is who you are by reason of the new birth; God’s favorite!
Know this and act accordingly.
God said of Jesus:
“And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:17
He repeated it: Matthew 17:5
And Jesus was very conscious of it:
“And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.” John 8:29, see also John 11:41-42a
He knew how God’s favour could work for him as a defense and it did: John 18:4-6
Be just as conscious- you are God’s favorite; nothing shall by any means hurt you!
