“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7

“That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.” 1 John 1:3
People dedicate time to attend their various fellowships; it could be their alumna fellowship or fellowship amongst colleagues, but he tells us if you’re born again there is a higher fellowship- fellowship with the father and with his Son Jesus Christ; notice how unselfish they are, they brought you into their fellowship so you can behold their glory and express that glory to your world:
“Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me…” John 17:24
When you got born again, you received their life and that is the life you now live by: [John 5:26] [1 John 5:11]
What’s more- you received a different nature; the divine nature and so you can partake of divine verities.
“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:4
If you would dedicate time to attend earthly fellowships- then dedicate even more time to fellowship with the father and his son through the word. There is nothing better.
