“And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.” Revelation 1:16
What we garner from John’s description of Jesus is that we must prioritize our devotion:
“Never be lazy in showing such devotion. Be on fire with the Spirit. Serve the Lord.” Romans 12:11, ISV
Our commitment to fellowship with God through his word in prayer. See what the Bible says:
“The one who speaks in tongues advances his own spiritual progress…” 1 Corinthians 14:4 TPT
You are very responsible for your progress spiritually, he assures you that no time spent praying is a waste, on the contrary, you’d be far better placed than you were before you prayed.
The same assurance is given to all who spend time speaking and meditating on the word:
“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy MOUTH; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8
Also notice that you are very responsible for your prosperity and good success in life.
