“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:”
2 Timothy 4:7
The Apostle Paul knew his course, meaning what God has planned for you to do should not be a mystery to you and at every juncture, you can simply ask him and he’d guide you as you are steadfastly being productive in his revealed purpose for his kingdom and the world.
Always remember, God has hearing ears and seeing eyes and is more than willing to answer you, immediately you ask.
Relish these examples and realize how quickly he responds:
David: 2 Samuel 15:31, 17:14. Abraham’s servant: Genesis 24:12-16. Daniel: Daniel 10:12. Jehoshaphat: 2 Chronicles 18:31-32. Jabez: 1 Chronicles 4:9-10. And many more.
And hear Jesus’ anticipation:
“Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16:24
The knowledge and certainty of God’s plan for your life should not be a mystery.
