“And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”  
2Timothy 2:26

In the main verse, the word of God exposes how powerless satan really is- he can’t even fight to prevail upon the man who has decided to leave his snare!
He says those who have been taken captive by him can recover themselves; they can decide today is the last day of their captivity and there is nothing satan can do to keep them bound! See why no child of God should limit his/her expressions in life because of some obsolete generational curse?
You have people who say because Jacob cursed Reuben, his first born son, it means every first born would be cursed!
“Reuben, thou art my firstborn… Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel;” Genesis 49:3-4
Jesus is the first born in our great family, and he is the usher of blessings; the mighty God.
“…he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”  Romans 8:29
That myth is obsolete and nobody should take it seriously.

Just knowing the truth, the word of God affirms, would move a man from constant frustration to a life of satisfaction! What is the truth about your future, health, success and satan? The future belongs to you, health and success are your natural expressions, the devil is under your feet; so powerless he can’t stop your visions in life!
