“But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.”

If you walk in love, no challenge or temptation would be big enough to topple you over:
“Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:” 2 Peter 1:10
He had told us that:
“And I pray this, that your love may abound even more and more in knowledge and every kind of insight so that you can decide what is best, and thus be sincere and blameless for the day of Christ,” Philippians 1:9-10, NET
Meaning walking in love would influence your spirit and colour your perspective of life in such a way that you will make the best choices in life and even more so walk in sincerity. A man who doesn’t walk in love and lets offences get to him- would be insincere and continuously make poor choices.
In all, now that you are born again, you must recognize who called you and walk in his moral goodness and purity, not just that, you should seek growth and give attention to your study of the word and your increasing in knowledge, and let the knowledge you receive from the word control you, and cause you to abound in patience, piety and love. Give diligence to make your calling and election sure.
