“For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.”
James 3:2

He tells you maturity is located in your mouth; a man who doesn’t offend in word is a perfect man; he’s a matured man and guess what, if he can tame his tongue, he will tame his body and in extension, his life.
Here, he makes clear that a man who seeks to change his life, must begin by putting a check on his words.
“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” Hebrews 11:3
Do you know that when God gives you words, he is seeking to influence your life? He wants to influence your reality, because your visible reality is determined by invisible words.
