“And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.”
Ephesians 3:19
God is longsuffering! Exodus 34:6
No matter the wickedness wrought by man, his love is still available to forgive, redeem and restore, the Bible tells us of Jesus being beaten by those he came to save, with every blow, he got closer to the full expression of his love for them:
“And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.” Ephesians 5:2
The height of his love! So high, no offense can touch it and he teaches us the same:
“And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.” Luke 17:4
This is how he expects you to walk in love, where even though offenses would come, you aren’t easily offended: Luke 17:1
In the midst of stark provocations, you display the wisdom of God: Luke 11:53-54, Matthew 22:46
And as you hear to do his word, you walk in his fullness- Psalms 119:11
