“To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.”
Ephesians 1:6
The word of God shows is who we are and then informs us God’s intent in revealing that information to us.
Remember it’s not just enough for God to make you something, he tells you about it, so you can have enough faith (because you have heard his word) to walk in the reality of that thing, so he didn’t just make Solomon the wisest man, he informed him:
“Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.” 2 Chronicles 1:12
He tells us in the main verse that we have been accepted in the beloved, when God looks at us, he sees us in the beloved as his beloved. Jesus is his beloved son, we are his beloved children:
“And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Mark 1:11
He tells us his intent; he wants his grace so lavished on us, men will praise him and his glorious grace- be fully conscious of this, you are told this by the word of God so you can have faith and walk in it. As you go about your day, be conscious that grace- unmerited favour, ease and abundance- is lavished on you by God so men will praise him! You are God’s beloved, and grace is lavished on you.
