“To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.”
Ephesians 1:6
Grace in its simplest expression is ‘unmerited favor’, meaning what Jesus said here:
“I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.” John 4:38
You don’t labour, you just enter the results. The quality of men that labour and the quality of results they wrought would be the quality of grace you would have access to and enjoy when you operate in the grace of those men. We enjoy the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ- we are blessed indeed, because whatever he did, he did best way and produced the absolutely best results, and we don’t have to labour for that result, we just enter into it- we enjoy unmerited favor because of his labor.
God wants his grace so seen on us, he placed us in locations and positions that would make that possible: In Christ- accepted in the beloved. Ephesians 1:3-
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:” And he made us:
“…a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people…” 1 Peter 2:9
Now, there’s something holy (divinely different) and peculiar about us that make us the best choice (chosen generation) for that grande royal favor. God is passionate about us walking in that favor
