“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;” Ephesians 5:18
Don’t while away time doing nothing, those who are wise do not do such, and the word of God defines people who do as fools:
“See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,” Ephesians 5:15
Instead, speak to yourself. In few occasions people can talk to you in a way that seems nonplussed, unpleasant or distasteful, that’s their prerogative, you take out time to speak to yourself in Psalms, that beautiful Psalm that got your attention in the word, take it up and put your name there:
“The [boundary] lines [of the land] have fallen for me in pleasant places; Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me.” Psalms 16:6 Amplified Bible
He’s telling you the verses are for you- speak them, get the word inside of you and vocalize the word concerning you, he says that is how to be filled with the Spirit. That is walking in wisdom, the world might mock you for your bold declarations- but they have never mattered and never will.
