“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;” Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭18‬ ‭

The Holy Ghost is called the Spirit of truth, and the word of God is truth, the Holy Ghost is the Spirit of the word, no wonder, we get filled with him when we speak the word to ourselves, then he tells us spend time singing, drop the phone and sing- this time not to yourself, but to the Lord! [Ephesians 5:19]
Sing how much you love him, sing of his goodness and greatness in your life, make melodies in your heart to him. Your songs to him- the expressions of your love- should be the constant rhythms of your heartbeat!
Instead of quietly pondering on the things that tend to cause you to worry, or how someone offended you, or some slight mistake that might have occurred near you, let your heart and pondering be filled with songs to the one who gives you peace, loves you endlessly and rights every wrong.
