“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;” Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭18‬ ‭

Don’t waste time, here’s something you can do, give thanks! [Ephesians 5:20] Get busy and reminiscence all that God has done for you, count your blessing and count your challenges as joy, and give thanks- cultivate the presence of God in your life; people do not give thanks to beings that are unreal, when you give thanks there’s a consciousness that the person can hear you, look at Jesus:
“…And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always…” John‬ ‭11‬:‭41‬-‭42‬ ‭
So when you give thanks you are elevating your consciousness that God is right there with you, he is, but you’re doing your part in cultivating his presence and guess what? That’s how you get filled with the Spirit.
It is easy to spot a Spirit filled man- he is a man of thanksgiving and gratitude, not murmurings, complaints and bitterness.
