“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;” Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭18‬ ‭

Don’t waste time plotting how you’d walk in rebellion, disobedience and show everyone who needs to see that you would not be taken for granted- that doesn’t mean anything. Don’t seek the honor or ‘respect’ of men:
“I receive not honour from men.” John‬ ‭5‬:‭41‬
Meekness is an expression of divinity, hear the divine one:
“…I am meek and lowly in heart…” Matthew 11:29
So a man who is submissive is a spiritual man, is a man that is in the hands of God for elevation:
“…Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble… Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” James‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬,10
Just as pride is an announcement of looming downfall, submission and humility are announcements of promotion and spirituality. Be filled with the Spirit, be wise, be submissive- primarily to the written word of God.
