“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;”
Ephesians 5:18
What a joy to know that giving thanks in a situation, equates your being filled with God’s Spirit and that God, in his kindness, not only teaches us to give thanks but instructs us to.
“…Therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.” Psalm 27:6
There is a sacrifice of joy; offer your sacrifices- give thanks to his name- with shouts of joy! That’s faith isn’t it— that simply because of God’s word, you choose to rejoice in a situation that would otherwise make you sad and full of despair? Choosing to do God’s word because you are fully convinced that you would walk in the results shown you!
“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations” James 1:2
Be different; offer sacrifices!
