“And now, brethren , I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭20‬:‭32‬

He says God’s word is able to build you up; he has the ability to cause you to wax greater and greater, make wiser and better decisions, be more fruitful and productive than you’ve ever been.
Your life should be a testament of progress- you just get better walking in and expressing the fullness of God and better at everything you do, and that ability to be increasingly better, to be built up is bestowed on you when you come in contact with the word.
Every time you meet the word, there’s a change irrespective of your awareness. The word of God you receive into your heart as you listen works in you to will God’s good pleasure:
“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭13‬
This means God’s word immediately attacks and nullifies desires and intentions that are antithetical to God’s purpose of productivity in your life and gives you better desires. Never stay far from God’s word.
