“To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:” Romans 2:7

It is through the preaching of the gospel that God makes eternal life and all of the blessings of eternal life available to man:
“In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching…” Titus 1:2-3
When they hear and believe, immediately they are brought into a life of glory:
“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” 2 Peter 1:3
Are you born again? If yes, God’s expectation of your life is that you live a life of glory and virtue. The word glory is from the Greek ‘doxa’ which also means honor, and so everyone who’s born again has something honorable about their life and the way they ought to comport themselves, remember you’re no longer a nobody:
“And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father…” Revelation 1:6, see also 1 Peter 2:9
You are now the child of the living God- a royal child with an inheritance!
