“To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:” Romans 2:7

The Bible says for all those who seek for glory, honor and immortality, God gives eternal life because in their lives they do well in patience!
Now, he expatiates for us these actions that he considers to be well doing in patience by pointing us to what others who instead of eternal life, received rebuke and punishment did:
“But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,” Romans 2:8
To God, doing well patiently means obeying righteousness, obeying the truth and not being contentious or opposed to the truth- Jesus had told us, God’s word is truth and to receive salvation and eternal life, every man must obey the gospel: 2 Thessalonians 1:8, 1 Peter 4:17
“By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:” Romans 1:5
To all those who are obedient to the gospel; obedient to the faith- God gives glory, honour, immortality; all wrapped up in eternal life!
