“These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.”
John 15:11

Jesus had said:
“Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16:24
He tells us that receiving answers to our prayers would cause our joy to be full and how true! Such joy, that would be shared by all around us, for example look at this woman: Luke 13:10-17
And see the shared joy:
“…and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.” Luke 13:17
So it is quite amazing that he tells us in the main verse that his word in us would do exactly the same thing that the answers to our prayers would- cause our joy to be full.
When we listen to his word, we are setting ourselves up to live a life of answers and joy!
