“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead”
1 Peter 1:3
It is never too late with God, Jesus showed that when he was delayed on his way to heal Jairus’ sick daughter and eventually heard she was dead:
“While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further? Ss soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.” Mark 5:35-36
He told Jairus to only believe! That was it, believing was all Jairus needed, believing was all Martha needed:
“Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?” John 11:39-40
He said if you believe you would see the glory of God. Instead of losing hope or complaining in despair, Jesus has an easier work for you; he says believe and you will see the glory of God. No matter how bad and terrible the situation might seem, God can turn it around.
Always remember, he is the God of hope and when he shows up, you can have hope. He lives in you today, meaning, at no point should you feel hopeless!
