YES! This is God’s response to all our questions. Pastor unveiled this to us in our special service tagged “A Sunday of Answers.”
She reminded us how he that follows Jesus will not walk in darkness, emphasizing that only when we change spiritual location i.e get born again that we can live in the fullness of life that Jesus brought. No wonder Jesus emphasized “You must be born again” John 3:7, as this is the only key to overcoming the wickedness of this world:
“And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.” 1 John 5:19
Pastor explained how the reality of the world is quite different, how evil is present in the world and there is a promise of falling for those not born again- so many inconsistencies in the world like the health for people of the world is “a yes” and “a no”.
This is contrary to the words of Jesus. He said:
“Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven” Matthew 6:10
So if there are no inconsistencies in heaven then for the born again Christian there should be no inconsistency. If there is no failing health in heaven, then for the child of God on earth, no failing health!

“For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” 1 Corinthians 1:20
This was the response of Paul to the Corinthians when he encouraged them about the reliability of the gospel. This answers all forms of questions we can ever have, towards our health, towards our finances, towards our victory. He says all the promises of God in him are YES!!!
So,
The lord is my shepherd – YES!
I shall not want – YES!
I walk in victory – YES!
Will the situation ever get better – YES!
In the world, lieth wickedness, but in Christ we have a God that can do anything and any question we might have concerning our prosperity, victory, health and success, his answer is- YES!
Pastor concludes with Hebrews 13:5- 6 “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”
Showing us the imperativeness of saying in context what the word of God has said about our lives; relating that to 1 Corinthians 1:20, knowing the word has said yes, we also should respond by declaring yes to that daunting situation, that challenge that seem impossible pull through, that financial problem seeming too hard. We declare YES! We have won!!
For the person who is used to that problem, can you come out of it? YES!
