“Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.”
Psalms 127:1

No wonder the Apostle commended the church to God and his word knowing that they would be built up:
“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up…” Acts 20:32
He knew if he committed them to any thing else, it’ll have been a waste of time and oh how they believed it, see it here again:
“And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.” Acts 14:23
He commended them to the word of God’s grace, he expected them to live a life of grace; not just conscious of the grace of God but expressing that same grace to others. The Bible tells us:
“Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.” James 5:9
So it’s clear that he didn’t expect them and us to become divisive, seditious and condemnatory.
There is no promise of being built for such expressions.
