“Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.”
Psalms 127:1

He already gave us the resources and instructions we require for our progress in his purpose for our lives, the Bible tells us:
“He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.” 1 Corinthians 14:4
What has he told us?
“But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,” Jude 1:20
Notice his response that we build ourselves on our most holy faith was shown in verses 18-19; the fact that ungodly and sensual people can become so influential, but when we build up ourselves and walk in love, we would not only live a life of purpose unaffected by the corruption in the world and by ungodly men but might even save some of them:
“And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire…” Jude 1:22-23
It is your responsibility to build God’s house, God’s way and not how you seem fit. If you are his house, be committed to the word of his grace and spend time praying in the spirit.
