“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
Romans 1:16

All of God’s power to save is invested in the gospel of Christ; there is no other means with which God can save a soul from eternal damnation outside the gospel:
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
When God committed the gospel to you, he committed his saving power to you, when you preach the gospel of Christ, you are releasing God’s power to save a soul— all just by talking:
“To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath COMMITTED unto us the WORD of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:19
Be a faithful steward!
“And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward… Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.” Luke 12:42-43
