Excellence is the right word to be used in describing our supernatural, uncommon, extraordinary and divine service with Pastor. She exhorted us taking some facts from Romans 10:3 “For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God”; the importance of submitting to the righteousness of God, she stated that for every time individuals decide to do things in ways that seem pleasing to them, they are acting like the Israelites who went about establishing their own righteousness, forgetting God’s righteousness is not to be argued about but submitted to.
She showed us from 1 Peter 5:6 “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:” how the person who has refused to submit to the righteousness of God in casting all his care on the Lord has chosen to exhibit pride “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you”
If after we have cast our cares on the Lord, we are reminded of that challenge, we ought to respond like Abraham, choosing not consider the seeming adverse circumstance but remain strong in faith, thanking God because since he cares for us, that situation has been dealt with already! “And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;) considered not his own body, but rather he was giving glory to God” Romans 4:19-20.
The bible has shown us what our response should be when we go through diverse temptations, he say we should count it joy (James 1:2-3) so knowing this we submit absolutely to the word of God even if we don’t feel like it!
