“Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?”
Matthew 20:15
Jesus told the church at Laodecia:
“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.” Revelation 3:19
He is the love and kindness of God revealed to all; and this means love rebukes and love corrects, the Bible tells us every rebuke and correction we receive from the word isn’t for our shame but for our profiting: 2 Timothy 3:16.
He does it so we would live sanctified lives, free from the condemnation that is destined for the world:
“But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.” 1 Corinthians 11:32
In your expressions of love and kindness, you ought to stand firm and always exalt God’s word in every conversation and that means you don’t celebrate, ignore or try to compromise with iniquity, but on the contrary, you correct when necessary, not to shame or condemn but to restore:
“Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the SPIRIT OF MEEKNESS…” Galatians 6:1
Hold forth at all times, God’s holy word of truth. Philippians 2:15-16
