“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”
1Peter 5:8
What is that which has caused you great concern- that thing you have prayed about and yet there has been no visible change? God has an answer for you today- he says cast it upon him and instead of getting concerned, get grateful- its been worked on already!
Be humble! Do what he says; it is that which will work.
He then says, after casting your cares on him, be vigilant because satan would not give up on causing you to worry.
He will still bring that issue to your mind, still bring different instances to get you bothered, but if you are vigilant, you’d realize he is trying to perturb your peace.
Be vigilant in your thanksgiving to God.
Be vigilant in refusing to care and be worried about that situation.
No matter the stories and examples satan brings to your mind, crush them with the consciousness of God’s word and a mouth filled with praise!
