“Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister…”
Matthew 20:28

The Bible tells us Jesus was not mistaken as to his identity- he knew he was God:
“Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:” Philippians 2:6
In-fact, he knew God had given all things into his hand, he knew his origin and his destiny, yet he humbled himself!
“Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;” John 13:3
Showing us that humility is a conscious decision on our parts not some divine impartation, you make up your mind to be humble even if you have many reasons to express pride. Learn from Jesus:
“So during the meal Jesus got up, removed his outer garment, and wrapped a towel around his waist. He put some water into a large bowl. Then he began washing his disciples’ feet and drying them with the towel he was wearing.” John 13:4-5
He got up and got himself ready to serve, the same with you- have the same mindset, get up and get yourself ready to serve and maintain that posture; in God’s kingdom, there is no greatness outside service.
