“Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister…”
Matthew 20:28

It is always amazing to see how Jesus set himself as a standard for us to follow, meaning that we can. He said:
“And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: EVEN AS the Son of man…” Matthew 20:27-28
We ought to take the posture of service just as he did.
This is the expectation of the word; that when we see Jesus, we are transformed and begin to function like the image we see:
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
He lived his life as an example for us to follow:
“For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:” 1 Peter 2:21
And now that we have the same life, the same father, and we are named the name of Christ, we ought to walk accordingly.
