“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.”
2Peter 3:18
There is so much about you:
“For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:” James 1:23
He says anytime you hear the word of God, you are beholding your natural face in a mirror, nothing the word of God says, does and seem like is far fetched for you- that is who you are “without stress- naturally!”
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2Corinthians 3:18
He goes again to tell us what we see when we look at the mirror- ourselves! That is what you ought to see when you look at the mirror, it will be weird if you looked at the mirror and saw someone else, the only image you’d get forever when you look at the mirror would be your image except it is not a mirror.
See what God calls you:
“…beholding as in a glass THE GLORY OF THE LORD”
You are the Glory of the Lord, only God can tell us who is glory is and he just said it is you! Hallelujah!!
This is why he said, he wants you to grow in expressing your oneness with the Lord Jesus.
The more you know him, the more you know you:
“And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:” John 17:22
