“But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.”
Hebrews 3:13

When you meet with other believers unto the praise of his name, God pays attention:
“Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.” Malachi 3:16-18
And he marks you out for a blessing- a significant promotion that would distinguish you from those who do not esteem so highly fellowship with others unto his name. Look at this:
“Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.” 1 Corinthians 11:17
In his rebuke to the church in Corinth, he tells us his expectation is we come to get better when we meet with the brethren; he is saying, it is certain that after meeting with other Christians, you would leave better than you went. Jesus Is always present when we come together, and as much as we are marked out for significant promotions, he ministers his specific word to us that will guide us on our glorious path.
Take advantage of this knowledge, and avail yourself in church today as we enter the new year gallantly!
