Happiness is not found in possessions, the simple fact that everything grows old (obsolete) is proof of that- that brand new car or phone would pretty soon become last year’s model; everything grows old:
“These things will disappear… They will all wear out like old clothes.” Hebrews 1:11, ERV
Guess who won’t grow old and whose years would never fail?
“…but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.” Hebrews 1:12
He is talking about Jesus, the living word, prioritize his words:
“I have told you these things so that you can have the true happiness that I have. I want you to be completely happy” John 15:11, ERV
