“A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: He will guide his affairs with discretion.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭112‬:‭25
And the Bible already showed one way to ensure you have the resources to shew favor (to give to the one who wants) is to labor with your hands-
“…but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭28‬
He emphasizes it:
“Work and you will earn a living; if you sit around talking you will be poor.” Proverbs‬ ‭14‬:‭23‬ ‭GNBUK‬
The good man guides his affairs with discretion, even when he shows favour, he does so discretely, the man who doesn’t work but has a comment on everything is speeding on the path of poverty.
God wants you to always have, to be an expression of his grace and favour like Jesus and to be discrete about it. [John 1:14, Matthew 6:3-4]
