“…Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always…”
John 11:41-42

We see in 1 John 5:15, that if we ask according to his will, he hears us and when he hears us, we would receive what we desire. Instead of complaining and feeling helpless, use the name of Jesus.
Peter said:
“…Silver and gold have I none…” Acts 3:6
He was very conscious of what he didn’t have, but his consciousness wasn’t limited to what he didn’t have- he was also very conscious of what he did have:
“…but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” Acts 3:6
He had the name of Jesus and he could use it. The Bible tells us:
“Therefore, through him let us always bring God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of our lips that confess his name.” Hebrews 13:15, ISV
Give thanks that you have a name that works! And when you use that name, God hears and miracles happen.
