“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”  
Romans 10:9

Jesus is lord!
“And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.” Colossians 1:17-18
In all things, he has the preeminence and by him all things consist! He is the head of the body, the church and that causes you to realize that the church exercises his will and authority on the earth!
“For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.”  1Corinthians 15:25
He MUST reign, his reign is not a suggestion, it is a must until all enemies have been put under his feet, but the feet is a part of the body, and so this means he MUST reign till he has put all his enemies under his body!
This means there are no options for the church, reigning is not a suggestion but a MUST! When he tells us to reign over sickness, it’s not a suggestion; he isn’t saying “you can try and rebuke the pain”, he is saying “you MUST rebuke that pain!”
A major reason for our being here is to reign! To reign and undo the effects of death in our world and minister life as the life giving spirits that we are:
“For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)”  Romans 5:17
This is urgent, this is a must, he says:
“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God… Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.”  Romans 8:19,21
The world is waiting for you- stop managing, understanding the situation, being carnal! Start reigning! It’s a must.
