“Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:”
Colossians 1:12
He had made us meet (all requirements) to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; he has qualified us- you became good enough to enjoy and use all of his abilities, the day you got born again!
You have to begin to think like Jesus concerning yourself and your walk with God:
“And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.” John 8:29
Just by being the son of God and having his spirit dwelling in you, God is pleased with you:
“And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:17
It might sound nice to say you are not good enough or though you are not qualified, he helps you. It sounds nice but couldn’t be more wrong!
The old man; that sinner, was not good enough, would never be qualified, the wrath of God was upon him- but that’s why Jesus came with a new life! When that old sinner hears the gospel and believes, he becomes a new creation- the child of the living God! Nothing is too good for him.
God seals him with the Holy Ghost as his ‘property’, declaring to all that he his finest ‘product’.
“…in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,” Ephesians 1:13
It would be unthinkable that when you put on an iPhone, the first thing it shows is “this phone is not worth the money, but you bought it”, no Apple employee would be pleased with that declaration. It is more unthinkable for a Christian born of God, sealed with the Holy Ghost to go around saying he or she is not qualified or good enough- Jesus never said that, never suggested that and you shouldn’t too. Talk like him:
“All things that the Father hath are mine…” John 16:15
Because you can:
“…For all things are yours;” 1Corinthians 3:21
