Do you know God’s word nourishes you:
“…nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.” 1 Timothy 4:6, “That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word… nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:” Ephesians 5:26,29
While humans have their vitamins, supplements etc.; we have God’s incorruptible word nourishing us- refreshing our souls, renewing our minds, vitilizing our bodies and setting us on course in life!
Moses spent such a time in God’s presence- he didn’t see God but he heard his words and those words influenced and altered his physical appearance:
“Now when Moses came down from Mount Sinai, with the two stones in his hand, he was not conscious that his face was shining because of his talk with God. But when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, and the shining of his face, they would not come near him for fear.” Exodus 34:29-30, BBE
He began to glow! God’s word would make you glow; cause your body to glow, but most importantly, have such an impact in your spirit that the glow inside far supercedes what is seen outside: 2 Corinthians 3:18, NHEB
Friend, please don’t treat God’s word casually.
