“For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.”
Proverbs 4:22

He tells you how to take advantage of the life and health that God’s word seeks to minister to you:
“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.” Proverbs 4:20-21
Attend to his word, stretch your ear- make every effort to prioritize his word in the midst of different voices, whether contrary or similar, and then keep the word in front of you; by setting the word in front of your eyes, you are keeping them in the midst of your heart and guess what?
“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23
This is how to take advantage of God’s word, how to have the word of God become the sole issue in your life; your sole offspring and result in life; so no matter what is happening around you; it is the truth of God’s word that is your experience:
“For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.” Jeremiah 17:8
