Proverbs 4:22

God’s word is life to those that find him and how blessed we are to have unfettered access to the word of God on the go- take a look at your Bible (app); it contains the word of God, it contains life.
How do we take advantage of this knowledge that God’s word is life and have this life ministered to and expressed through us? He tells us:
“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.” Proverbs 4:20-21
Attend to the word- have you ever had a visitor, like in Luke 10:38-42, Mary and Martha had Jesus visit them and Mary attended to him by listening to him while Martha tried to attend to him by doing what she supposed he liked; in the same manner as you ought to attend to your visitor, he says attend to the word. Give God’s word your attention and your resolve. You want life ministered to you, you want the word of God to affect your flesh? Attend to the word- don’t treat the word casually.
