“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” 1 John 3 vs 2 KJV

If it is true that all that he is, we are, then we are walking in the reality of Jesus’ utmost desire expressed in his prayer to God:

“Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.” John‬ ‭17‬:‭24‬

And we should spend a lot of time discovering who we are and walking in that reality; no wonder he always emphasized that we grow in our knowledge of Jesus. Remember something so important; it would be difficult for anyone to do the truth, walk in the light, live like Jesus if he does not fellowship with him through the word.

“If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭1‬:‭6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

You would do the word and live according to your true nature when you spend time fellowshipping with Jesus through his word. This is why he called you; this is so important. 1 Corinthians 1:9

Shut your eyes and ears to the descriptions and definitions given you by the world and it’s fallen, failing systems and be determined that only God’s word can accurately describe you and your experiences in life- only that which is good enough for Jesus is good enough for you. Insist on this.
